Home air conditioning is now firmly on the ‘Wish List’ of many homeowners and property developers in the UK. Our climate is undoubtedly becoming warmer each year, and most of us have quickly become accustomed to the comfort of our air conditioned cars and places of work.

This desire for comfort is naturally extending to the home, creating a new and exciting market, which though our passion for customer care and attention to detail in our work we’ve found ourselves ideally positioned to service.

A healthy choice of home air conditioning equipment is now available in the UK, from ‘designer’ wall-mounted systems for a single room, through to bespoke, ‘whole house’ ducted air conditioning systems that can be discretely concealed.

Most people instinctively associate the term ‘air conditioning’ with cooling, however today’s home air conditioning systems also heat through the use of highly efficient heat-pump technology, and provide an effective level of air filtration. In turn, bedrooms, conservatories and loft conversions that are typically too hot in the summer and difficult to keep warm in the winter, can be enjoyed at a constant level of comfort throughout the entire year.

Single Self-contained units.
Our range of self-contained single air conditioners Oprovide a fast and simple solution to air conditioning a single room in the home.

Whilst not a significantly cheaper option than a straight-forward split system installation, the installation of these units takes just a few hours and no outdoor unit is required.

These machines are in turn an ideal solution for properties having no available outside space such as flats or apartments, or where a substantial piping distance makes the installation of a split system prohibitively expensive.

Split Type Home Air Condioning Units.
The split type system is the most commonly used form of air-conditioning system. As the name suggests, the refrigeration circuit is split into two halves, with each half being contained within separate indoor and outdoor units.

The indoor units are attractive in appearance and available in varying styles to suit the surroundings. They contain a heat-exchanger and low-noise fan, and are generally wall-mounted, floor-standing or concealed within attic spaces or bespoke enclosures.

The outdoor units are responsible for rejecting the unwanted heat to outside. They are again compact in design and operate with extremely low noise ratings. They can be sited anywhere outside, either floor-standing on patio areas or flat roofs, or wall-mounted on suitable brackets.

The indoor and outdoor units are connected via insulated refrigeration pipework and the necessary cabling to restore the complete refrigeration circuit, and the separation between each can be anything up to 30 metres.

Multi-Split Home Air Conditioners.
The multi-split type system comprises of a single outdoor unit which is capable of serving multiple indoor units thereby serving multiple rooms or areas in the home.

The outdoor units are responsible for rejecting the unwanted heat to outside. They are again compact in design and operate with extremely low noise ratings. They can be sited anywhere outside, either floor-standing on patio areas or flat roofs, or wall-mounted on suitable brackets.

The indoor and outdoor units are connected via insulated refrigeration pipework and the necessary cabling to restore the complete refrigeration circuit. The separation between the indoor and outdoor unit can be anything up to 30 metres.
